Halo is an all-volunteer organization.  We walk the dogs, play with the cats and do some extra cleaning.  Volunteer schedule is on the home page and/or on our Facebook page. 

 

Halo volunteers are not at the pound daily.

 

Volunteers are welcome to volunteer with us on a conditional basis - volunteers must follow the rules of the pound. Please wear old clothes and shoes (close-toed shoes are best). 

  

We do not accept volunteers under the age of 12.

 

Children between the ages of 12 and 15 need to have a signed waiver by parents and a parent or legal guardian must be present at ALL times with each youth volunteer.

 

16 and 17 year-olds may volunteer without a parent present after a waiver has been signed by the parent/guardian.

 

We do not offer court-ordered community service hours.

 

Fundraising events are another great way to help us. We can always use extra help at events.
