Halo for Animals works with the city of Sullivan, Missouri, to place animals that find themselves in the city pound. We advertise for these animals, and take them to adoption events. We help with the spay/neuter costs by offering a half price certificate(not to exceed $50) for the adopters to use for their new pet from the pound.  We are able to foster periodically based on our volunteers' availability.

 

YOU ARE ADOPTING FROM THE CITY'S POUND, NOT FROM HALO.

We are licensed as an Animal Care Facility through the state of Missouri Department of Agriculture Division of Animal Health, Animal Care Facilities Program.
We are listed on Guidestar.
We do not have a facility; we assist the city of Sullivan find homes for abandoned animals left in the city pound for longer than five business days.

Directions to the Sullivan Animal Pound

The pound is not open to the public on a regular basis.

You must make arrangements to meet the animal control officer or a Halo member.

The pound is located on Emma Lane off the South Outer Road.

Use 301 Emma Lane, Sullivan, MO 63080 for GPS

 

From 44 exit 226

head south to Springfield Rd (south outer road)

turn left on Springfield

Emma Lane is two streets past Victorian Manor

pound is at end of road on the left
